We are not alone in this fight against Canine Cancers. Click on the links (pics) below and check out our "Partners in Hope!"

The Alexandria Welfare League is where John adopted Ozzy from when he was 8 weeks old. A portion of the donated funds and food will go to them, and help support homeless dogs until they can find their Forever Families. If your family is ready to welcome a new pet into your home and your hearts, please click on the above link and see what/who they have to offer. Good luck in your search.

THE REGIONAL VETERINARY REFERRAL CENTER  (703.451.8900)

Most owners' initial consultation for the treatment of cancer in their pet is with an oncologist. An oncologist is a veterinarian who has completed advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in companion animals in the area of either medical and/or radiation oncology. The oncologist has detailed knowledge of all aspects of the treatment of cancer including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy and biological therapy. This allows the oncologist to coordinate and supervise your pet’s combination treatment. At the Regional Veterinary Referral Center, Dr. Nancy Gustafson is our Radiation Oncologist.

THE HOPE CENTER
  (703.281.5121)

The Oncology department at The Hope Center focuses on the care and treatment of patients diagnosed with cancer. This disease, in addition to it being physically challenging for the pet, it is also a troubling time for the owner. The department relies on the most advanced cancer therapies to treat the patient as well as education to help pet owners understand their pet’s condition and make the most informed decisions possible in line with the wishes of their family.
